Bringing an exceptional Finnish sauna experience to the communities of Swansea, Gower and beyond.
In today's fast-paced world, it's essential to carve out moments to slow down and relax. At Sauna Hut Wales, we provide the perfect environment for you to unwind and reconnect. Take time to relax with the gentle crackle of the wood burning stove and the calming scent of the warmed alder lined walls. Whether you're soaking in the warmth of our wood-fired sauna, cooling off with a refreshing dip in the cold water tank, in the sea or the always refreshing river (@ Parkmill) or simply sitting and taking in the natural surroundings, every aspect is designed to enhance your wellbeing and help you slow down, relax and reconnect. Embrace the magical combination of hot-cold-rest and let go of the daily stresses as you immerse yourself in this unique experience.
As a mobile sauna we are currently running our beautiful Sauna Hut in four very different locations: Mumbles; Langland and Parkmill, making it accessible to a variety of communities. Each location offers something different with Sauna Hut Wales.
Mumbles most Saturdays, with Parkmill on the last Saturday each month and
langland every Sunday.
Hot-cold-rest is the magical combination, what are the health benefits?
Choose from a Friends’ Sauna for up to eight friends, or join a Shared Sauna with up to six people (less people so that you have more room), where we foster a gentle and sociable atmosphere where like-minded individuals can relax. We also offer a Family Session where larger groups (up to 12) can mix the sauna experience with complimentary outdoor activities. Your children need to be over 6 years of age to use the sauna and accompanied by an adult at all times. In these sessions you can also choose from a range of practical activities, such as stick carving; lighting ‘kelly kettles’ and using ‘pyrographs’ for artistic enjoyment. Talk to us and create the perfect session for your family and friends. Please check that you do not have any medical conditions that may prevent you from enjoying a sauna with us by reading our ‘Terms and Conditions’ here: https://saunahutwales.co.uk/faqs

Choose to gift a seat or two in a ‘Shared Sauna’ for an hour or a ‘Friends’ Sauna’ where up to eight people can share the experience. Simply email us with the name/names of whom you are gifting and what sauna experience you are giving them and we will create their e-voucher, which can be redeemed at any of our locations within a year of being issued.

In Mumbles at Knab Rock- SA3 4EL or what 3 words : atlas.design.misfits. Every Saturday (apart from the last one of the month - when you will find us in Parkmill by the river).
Mumbles has a magnificent new promenade and sea defences, that elegantly completes the last sweep of the coast path that links the City of Swansea to the picturesque old fishing village of Mumbles. The Knab Rock provides amenities for all sorts of people enjoying the sea and the coast line, many sail from this spot, launch boats or SUPs from the slipways, swim here, fish from the sea wall or just sit at one of the many cafes/restaurants or bars and gaze at the bay, dotted with boats sweeping around to Mumbles Pier built in 1898, with its old and new Life Boat stations. Beyond this sit two islands that mark the end of the bay, the outer island is home for the iconic Mumbles light House.
In Parkmill at ‘The Heritage Centre’ - SA3 2EH, or what 3 words : tonality.cheesy.tech on the last Saturday of each month: on the 30th May and the 27th June 2026.
On one Saturday each month you will find Sauna Hut nestled beside the mill leat at the Gower Heritage Centre (GHC) in Parkmill. We will have the fire going in the thatched round house as an additional place for you to relax and enjoy a restorative experience. Parkmill is in Gower, the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is a 30 minute to an hours walk from the exceptional beaches of Three Cliffs Bay, Pobbles and Tor. There are many excellent walks to be had from here, along winding river valleys to gold sand beaches, through woodlands and valleys with hidden caves and up on to Cefn Bryn, one of the hills that dominates the Gower landscape and will give you incredible views. Whether you wish to paddle-board, walk, run or cycle, this is the perfect starting point - and you get to round off your day’s adventure with a quality sauna experience at Sauna Hut Wales!
In Parkmill we are set up beside the mill leat/river where a step ladder leads you into the COLD waters, the perfect partner for our HOT sauna. If you are lucky whilst in the river you may spot the resident Kingfisher or the bobbing Dipper, see photograph of this beautiful bird below taken by my good friend Paul Thomas (Tomsk) on this mill leat. Those who do not wish to brave the river can refresh themselves with a jug of cold water from our metal buckets or book our 5ft water tub for an extra refreshing dip! We will also have a log fire burning in the thatched round house beside the mill leat, a relaxing place to change or just spend some time beside the fire.

In Langland every Sunday at SA3 4QZ, or what 3 words: elder.decking.cabs.
Langland Bay Beach is a popular family-friendly destination located on the Gower Peninsula in Wales. Because of its clean environment and safe waters, it has earned both the prestigious Blue Flag and Seaside Awards. The beach is equipped with a wide range of facilities, cafés, plenty of car parking, outdoor cold shower and access to public toilets.
For those who enjoy scenic walks, Langland Bay offers a beautiful coastal clifftop path that leads to the nearby Caswell Bay. This walk provides stunning views of the coastline and the opportunity to explore more of the Gower's natural beauty, seals are often spotted just off shore. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, get in the sea, enjoy water sports, or go for a peaceful walk, all of these activities will be complimented by a relaxing sauna.
We are tucked behind the beach huts a stroll away from the beach if you want to partner your sauna with a cold water dip, you will also have access to our 5 foot long cold water tub to add to your experience.
For the surfers and cold water swimmers we offer 30 minute ‘WARM UPs!’, these can only be booked on the day with Sauna Hut staff. Where as those who wish to take their time can book our even more relaxing hour long sessions!

‘Mewslade View’ on Mark Button’s Farm, Pitton, Rhossili, SA3 1PH. We ran our first session here in April and it was magical and we hope to return again in Septmber 2026. Set up on the edge of this wild valley, with both the sauna and cold water tub commanding a stunning view.

We (Bethan, Barney and Tid) were inspired by our travels in a number of sauna loving countries, where daily sauna use is the norm. We experienenced a range of different saunas, in different environments, with a variety of people and came to understand the benefits of a quality sauna experience. This experience was focused around the sauna, but often included the company of others, cold water immersion and time outdoors. We came to realise that it was the combination of these elements that was most beneficial. So we designed and built a beautiful mobile wood fired sauna and plan to explore how we can offer an exceptional sauna experience to a Swansea and Gower communities.
